Short Biography  Paula J. Penn-Nabrit, JD

Author PhotoPaula J. Penn-Nabrit, a Columbus, Ohio native, is the second of four children and the eldest of  three sisters. She was baptized at the Church of Christ Apostolic Faith in 1960 and received the Holy Ghost in 1965. Paula graduated from the prestigious Columbus School for Girls, Wellesley College, and The Ohio State University College of Law.

Although law school was interrupted in 1980 with the birth of twin boys, Charles and Damon, Paula returned to earn her Juris Doctorate in 1981. With law school finished, Paula decided to focus all attention inward to family. Another son, Evan, arrived in 1982.   The ensuing years form the experiential basis for writing As For Me and My House, the resource guide for homeschooling.

Paula also is the author of two other books.

Her upcoming volumes, How to Get Your Kid into College and My Family Book, are nearing completion.

Paula currently lives in Westerville, Ohio with her husband, Charles, where she continues to enjoy the challenge of homeschooling their remaining son, Evan.
